Computational Rational Agents Laboratory (CORAL)

CORAL is developing a formal mathematical theory of intelligent agents, applicable to AI, humans and any other agentic mind. This theory will allow formalizing AI alignment and developing AI algorithms with provable alignment guarantees. Our work draws on statistical and computational learning theory, control theory, algorithmic information theory, applied category theory, combinatorics on words and other fields.
